A typical day as a graduate at Douglas Partners:

You may find yourself out in the field, conducting site investigations, collecting soil and rock samples and/or assisting in geotechnical or environmental assessments. You’ll gain practical knowledge in data analysis and interpretation, contributing to the development of engineering designs and recommendations.

Back in the office, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, working on real projects that have a direct impact on our clients and communities. You’ll be involved in data management, performing calculations and assisting in the preparation of reports. Your contributions will be valued, and you’ll have the chance to learn from experts in the field while honing your technical skills.

Throughout your journey, you’ll have access to mentorship programs, Our Graduate Program, and professional development opportunities. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, seek guidance, and grow both personally and professionally.

Our Graduate Development Program has been structured in three phases, allowing you to develop and advance your abilities at your own speed and from any point.

By design, you will gain experience in different areas of the business while providing a full employee experience that encompasses our people, organisational culture and daily operations.

The program consists of rotational assignments, professional development, accreditation with relevant professional bodies ensuring that you gain the recognition and qualifications needed to excel in your field; In addition, our internal training courses and seminars are designed to enhance your practical skills, equipping you with the tools and knowledge for a empowering experience.

Post Graduate Continuing Education

Douglas Partners supports continuing education and encourages staff to undertake postgraduate courses relevant to their work.

Assistance is provided by way of study leave for lectures and exams and financial assistance with course-related fees. Conditions apply.
